Job Summary
Provide in-home hospice nursing care to patients, perform focused nursing assessments, develop and revise individualized care plans with patients and families, administer prescribed medications and treatments, educate families on symptom management and end-of-life care, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure timely supplies and services for home visits in the Starkville area.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the state of employment
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 1 year of hospice nursing experience (2+ years preferred)
- CHPN and/or BSN preferred
Additional Requirements
- Drug-free workplace
- Pre-employment drug screening including marijuana
