Job Summary

Lead integration, verification and validation, design verification testing, and production testing for airborne electro-optical and infrared focal plane array sensor systems. Collaborate with the Program Chief Engineer and Lead Systems Engineer to develop product requirements, IV&V plans, and production test designs. Pilot test architecture development from bid through production, manage execution and procurement activities, and partner with operations teams to minimize cycle time and maximize yield. Perform data analysis and modeling of test and product data while communicating with test management, hardware engineers, and customers. Requires an active DoD Secret clearance, a STEM degree, and 8+ years of experience in EO/IR system testing and validation.

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. government issued security clearance
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Active and existing security clearance
  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience
  • Advanced degree and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience
  • Airborne and/or space EOIR system test experience
  • Integration verification and validation testing experience
  • Product transition to production experience
  • Relatable experience to the above
  • Experience executing test methodologies for electro-optical (EO) systems
  • Optical performance analysis experience
  • Test verification for EO/IR focal plane array sensor systems experience
  • Experience in comparable development and production environments
  • LABVIEW experience
  • MATLAB experience
  • Onsite work in Goleta, CA
