Job Summary
Vision Systems/DLA Analyst responsible for developing, maintaining and supporting global machine vision applications for manufacturing automation. Serve as subject expert coordinating with Controls Engineers, Skilled Trades & IT to apply data analytics techniques, create automated reports, BI visuals, and document data requirements. Design vision system hardware/software, including devices, power distribution, I/O networks, and cost-estimating tools; ensure compliance with GCCH, GCCS and Global Robot Standards; supervise contractor designs as needed; provide on-site technical support for plant vision issues, equipment startup, troubleshooting, and training. Collaborate with business, IT, automation and analytics teams to capture and document data requirements, pull data using reporting tools, analyze datasets, validate findings, and communicate trends to drive process improvements. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s in engineering or related fields and experience in machine vision, equipment selection, lighting techniques, and exposure to PLCs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or related field or specialization in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, and information technology or equivalent experience
- Experience with the design and build of machine vision in manufacturing systems, including equipment selection and lighting techniques
- Exposure to PLCs
