Vision Clinic - Patient Services Representative

Greet patients professionally, answer phone calls, and schedule appointments while managing patient communications and recalls. Verify insurance, obtain pre-authorizations, and check patients in and out by preparing charts prior to arrival and completing documentation upon entry. Process checkouts by verifying chart documentation, accepting payments, filing clean claims, and authorizing insurance and billing. Monitor patient flow to communicate delays, perform end-of-day tasks including cash drawer balancing and report submission, and maintain a safe office environment. This role supports the Central Billing department and clinical staff within a professional medical office setting.
