Verify insurance, obtain pre-authorizations, check patients in and out, and prepare charts prior to arrival. Process checkouts by documenting insurance information, accepting payments, filing clean claims, and authorizing referrals. Monitor patient flow, communicate delays, and perform end-of-day tasks including cash drawer balancing and report submission. Maintain a safe, clean office environment and enter data accurately into the EHR.
