Job Summary
Virtualization Backup Engineer with Spanish. Perform troubleshooting and analysis (log file investigation); act as technical focal point to IT Professionals; own customer problems from case start to resolution (in Veeam) including third‐party components; document all customer interactions accurately in CRM; requires fluent Spanish and English; strong Windows Server, networking, and virtualization knowledge (VMware ESX(i), Hyper-V); UNIX/Linux knowledge a plus; able to learn quickly and explain technical information; capable of ownership and working in a fast-paced environment; remote role based in Romania (remote within Romania) with applicable visa/locals noted.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent Spanish & English (reading/writing/speaking)
- Windows Server 2016 / 2019 / 2022 / 2025, Windows 10 / 11
- Practical knowledge of TCP/IP and networking configuration/troubleshooting (NAT, ports, DHCP, DNS)
- As a plus, UNIX and/or Linux knowledge, VMware ESX(i), Microsoft Hyper-V, Microsoft Exchange server administration, DataBase engines (SQL/Oracle)
- Ability to quickly learn, understand and explain technical information
- Ability and desire to take ownership of client issues through resolution
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
