Virtual Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary
Lead clinical decision-making in a high-volume virtual urgent-care setting delivering safe, efficient remote care at a national scale. Manage virtual visits with acute/episodic conditions, review pre-populated summaries and decision-support prompts, evaluate patients using a proprietary platform, order/interpret tests, and determine disposition (treat, refer, or escalate). Document encounters thoroughly in the electronic platform, coordinate virtually with nursing staff, care coordinators, pharmacy, and clinical operations, and maintain quality metrics and compliance with state telemedicine regulations. This role requires a rotating schedule with nights and weekends, multi-state licensure, and strong proficiency with telemedicine platforms and remote collaboration to support accessible, high-speed patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) with an active and unrestricted license to practice in the United States
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience specializing in emergency medicine or virtual urgent care
- Active licensure in at least 30 U.S. states, including at least two of: Georgia, Texas, New York, DC, or Florida
- Demonstrated proficiency navigating telemedicine platforms and managing technology-mediated patient interactions
- Proven clinical judgment and decision-making skills for high-volume patient encounters without compromising quality or safety
- Ability to commit to a rotating schedule including nights and weekends with flexibility for shift adjustments
- Effective verbal and written communication skills focused on delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a remote setting
- Documented ability to work independently in a remote environment with high levels of self-motivation and accountability for clinical outcomes
