Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments
- Active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification
- 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience
Desired Qualifications
- Certification or licensure specific to teaching students with visual impairments
- Experience working with K-12 students in a similar capacity
- Strong understanding of assistive technologies and instructional methodologies related to visual impairment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt curriculum and materials to meet diverse learning needs
