Job Summary
Deliver virtual instruction to students with disabilities as a 1099 contract educator. Work through the educator portal to select placements that align with your South Carolina certification, promoting creativity, engaging students, and guiding course completion. Responsibilities include creating strategies to engage learners, developing lesson plans aligned with the class curriculum, tracking student grades and performance, and participating in a virtual skills demonstration plus a background check as part of the application process. Requires South Carolina Teaching Certification in Students with Disabilities (or reciprocity), Bachelor's Degree, and at least 1 year of professional teaching experience. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7AM–3PM, with immediate start opportunities through the academic year; fully remote with no on-site requirements. This contract position is paid at $255-$265 per day and does not include benefits.
Required Qualifications
- South Carolina Teaching Certification in Students with Disabilities or reciprocity
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a professional educator
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- This is a 1099 Independent Contractor contract position
- Remote/virtual teaching environment via educator portal
