Job Summary
Deliver virtual STEM instruction to middle/high school students as a 1099 contractor. Select placements via the educator portal, create lesson plans aligned with curricula, engage and nurture student relationships, and track student Grades and performance. Requires South Carolina teaching certification, a bachelor’s degree, and at least 3 years of professional teaching experience. Remote, contract position with school-district partners; immediate start dates based on placement opportunities; online teaching experience is a plus. Fully remote work with live-streamed instruction and no benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- South Carolina Teaching Certification in Middle School and/or High School STEM subjects
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional educator
- Laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet access
- Participate in a virtual skills teaching demonstration + submit a background check as part of the application process
