Job Summary
Manage and operate a virtualized Microsoft environment by performing daily system checks, reviewing management tool events, and executing server patch management. Conduct system audit reviews, perform maintenance functions, and coordinate with work centers to resolve incidents involving system performance and supporting infrastructure. Notify Government representatives of critical issues while adhering to change control standards and troubleshooting techniques using remote server management tools. Requires 5-9 years of experience, VMware certifications, and ability to work 24/7 shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Secret w/SSBI
- U.S. Citizenship
- Current DoD Secret clearance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Work in 24/7 environment
- Ability to work second/third shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Five to nine (5‐9) years of experience
- VMware Certified Associate (VCA) certification
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification within 6 months
- Certified in accordance with DoD 8570.01‐M Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II – Security+
- Active Directory
- Clustering
- Domain Name System
- Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol
- Knowledge of and adherence to change control standards and procedures
- Problem resolution
- Troubleshooting techniques
- Use of remote server management tools
