Job Summary
Conduct virtual clinical care via telehealth visits, telephonic triage, and email follow-ups for One Medical patients. Collaborate with in-office and virtual teammates through daily huddles and participate in weekly Clinical Rounds for continuous learning. Maintain active NCCPA certification and practice as an Advanced Practitioner with 2+ years in outpatient primary care or urgent care/emergency medicine. Work alternating A/B weekends with shifts from 7am-6pm EST, supporting 2 of 4 company holidays. This seasonal role runs from August to February 2027 for the One Medical Virtual Medical Team.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of master's degree in an accredited Physician Assistant program (MSPAS)
- Maintaining active NCCPA certification
- Currently licensed in NY
- Possibility to obtain additional states
- Practiced as an Advanced Practitioner for at least 2 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
- Practiced as an Advanced Practitioner for at least 2 years in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
- Ability to work afternoons and evenings
- Excellent clinical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow established clinical protocols and workflows
- Ability to successfully communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds
- Ability to confidently navigate uncertain situations with both patients and colleagues
- Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet the needs of our patients
- Support 2 of 4 company observed holidays (Thanksgiving, day after Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Day)
- 2 full (entire) rotating A/B weekends per month (weekends includes Saturday and Sunday)
- Employment type: Seasonal Employee from August - February 2027
- W2 position
- 40 hours minimum weekly
- Current shifts are 7am-6pm EST or 11-10pm EST
