Job Summary
Seasonal Virtual Physician Assistant role with One Medical, delivering tele-health care to patients 24/7 via telemedicine channels (video, telephone, email). Responsibilities include treating patients through tele-health visits, participating in weekly Clinical Rounds, collaborating with virtual and in-office teammates, and applying evidence-based primary care protocols. Requires completion of an MSPAS and active NCCPA, NY licensure with potential to obtain additional state licenses, and at least 2 years of outpatient primary care or urgent/emergency care experience. Schedule centers on afternoons/evenings with a rotating weekend commitment; compensation is $80/hour for a temporary August–February 2027 assignment.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in MSPAS (MSPAS) or equivalent
- Active NCCPA certification
- Current NY medical license with ability to obtain additional state licenses
- Minimum 2 years experience in outpatient primary care (0+ age) OR 2 years in urgent care/emergency medicine (0+ age)
- Ability to work afternoons and evenings (shifts include 7am-6pm EST or 11am-10pm EST)
- Strong clinical and communication skills and ability to follow clinical protocols
