Job Summary
Virtual Medical Team (VMT) seasonal telehealth PA role treating patients via tele-health visits, including telephonic triage calls, video visit appointments, and email follow-ups. Requires MSPAS and active NY license (with potential to obtain additional states), NCCPA certification, and at least 2 years of outpatient primary care or urgent care experience. Shifts include afternoons and evenings with a rotating weekend schedule; August–February 2027 in a non-benefited, W2 position. Collaboration with virtual and in-office teammates, involvement in weekly clinical rounds, and use of technology to deliver evidence-based primary care to patients 24/7. Must demonstrate strong clinical/protocol adherence, patient communication, and teamwork in a fully virtual environment.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant program (MSPAS)
- Active NCCPA certification
- Currently licensed in NY with possibility to obtain additional states
- 2 years in outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+), OR 2 years in urgent care or emergency medicine setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
- Ability to work afternoons and evenings (7am-6pm EST or 11-10pm EST)
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
- Familiarity with following established clinical protocols and workflows
