Job Summary
Conduct tele-health visits, including video appointments, telephonic triage, and email follow-ups, while collaborating with virtual and in-office teammates via daily huddles. Engage in continuous learning through weekly Clinical Rounds and utilize your clinical training to deliver evidence-based primary care virtually. Maintain active NCCPA certification and practice as an Advanced Practitioner with at least two years of experience in outpatient primary care, urgent care, or emergency medicine. Work afternoon and evening shifts (7am–6pm PST) with rotating A/B weekends, supporting two of four company holidays. This seasonal role runs from August to February 2027, offering $80/hr compensation and access to robust benefits including malpractice insurance, CME stipends, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of master's degree in an accredited Physician Assistant program (MSPAS)
- Maintaining active NCCPA certification
- Currently licensed in CA
- Possibility to obtain additional states
- 2 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
- 2 years in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
- Ability to work afternoons and evenings
- Excellent clinical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow established clinical protocols and workflows
- Ability to effectively use technology to deliver high quality care
- Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
- Ability to confidently navigate uncertain situations with both patients and colleagues
- Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet the needs of our patients
- Support 2 of 4 company observed holidays (Thanksgiving, day after Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Day)
- 2 full (entire) rotating A/B weekends per month (weekends includes Saturday and Sunday)
- Current shifts range from starting at 7am-6pm PST or 11-10pm PST
- Employment type: Seasonal Employee from August - February 2027
- W2 position
- 40 hours minimum weekly
- Ability to obtain additional states license
