Job Summary
Conduct tele-health visits, including video appointments, telephonic triage, and email follow-ups for One Medical patients. Collaborate with virtual and in-office teammates via daily huddles and participate in weekly Clinical Rounds for continuous learning. Utilize clinical training to provide evidence-based primary care through advanced technology, adhering to established protocols and workflows. This seasonal role runs from August to February 2027 with a minimum 40-hour weekly schedule and rotating A/B weekends. Compensation is $80/hour. One Medical, now part of Amazon, delivers 24/7 virtual care to patients, employers, and health networks while offering robust benefits including malpractice insurance, CME stipends, and a paid sabbatical program.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of master's degree in an accredited Physician Assistant program (MSPAS)
- Maintaining active NCCPA certification
- Currently licensed in CA
- Possibility to obtain additional states
- 2 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
- 2 years in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
- Ability to work afternoons and evenings
- Excellent clinical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow established clinical protocols and workflows
- Authorization to work in the U.S. (E-Verify)
- Support 2 of 4 company observed holidays (Thanksgiving, day after Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Day)
- 2 full (entire) rotating A/B weekends per month
- 40 hours minimum weekly
