Job Summary
Conduct virtual clinical care via telehealth visits, including video appointments, telephonic triage, and email follow-ups. Collaborate with in-office and virtual teammates through daily huddles and participate in weekly Clinical Rounds for continuous learning. Maintain CA licensure and NCCPA certification while practicing primary care for patients of all ages. Work rotating A/B weekends and afternoons/evenings from 7am–6pm PST. This seasonal role runs August through February 2027 with a minimum of 40 hours weekly.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of master's degree in an accredited Physician Assistant program (MSPAS)
- Maintaining active NCCPA certification
- Currently licensed in CA
- Possibility to obtain additional states
- 2 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
- 2 years in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
- Ability to work afternoons and evenings
- Excellent clinical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow established clinical protocols and workflows
- Ability to successfully communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds
- Ability to confidently navigate uncertain situations with both patients and colleagues
- Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet the needs of our patients
- Authorization to work in the U.S. (E-Verify)
