Job Summary

Conduct telehealth visits, including video appointments, telephonic triage, and email follow-ups, while collaborating with virtual and in-office teammates via daily huddles. Participate in weekly Clinical Rounds to ensure continuous learning and maintain active NCCPA certification. Work afternoon and evening shifts ranging from 7am to 6pm PST, rotating A/B weekends, and support two of four company holidays. This seasonal role from August to February 2027 requires a CA-licensed Physician Assistant with at least two years of recent primary care or urgent care experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of master's degree in an accredited Physician Assistant program (MSPAS)
  • Maintaining active NCCPA certification
  • Currently licensed in CA
  • Possibility to obtain additional states
  • 2 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
  • 2 years in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
  • Ability to work afternoons and evenings
  • Excellent clinical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to follow established clinical protocols and workflows
  • Ability to successfully communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds
  • Ability to confidently navigate uncertain situations with both patients and colleagues
  • Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet the needs of our patients
  • Support 2 of 4 company observed holidays (Thanksgiving, day after Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Day)
  • 2 full (entire) rotating A/B weekends per month (weekends includes Saturday and Sunday)
  • Current shifts range from starting at 7am-6pm PST or 11-10pm PST
  • Employment type: Seasonal Employee from August - February 2027
  • W2 position
  • 40 hours minimum weekly
  • One Medical participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S.
