Job Summary
Conduct tele-health visits, including video appointments, telephonic triage, and email follow-ups, while utilizing clinical protocols to deliver primary care to One Medical patients. Engage in weekly Clinical Rounds and participate in daily huddles to collaborate with virtual and in-office teammates. Maintain continuous learning through evidence-based modalities and adapt to uncertain situations with both patients and colleagues. Work afternoon and evening shifts (7am–6pm or 11am–10pm PST) with rotating A/B weekends, supporting two of four observed holidays. This seasonal role (August–February 2027) requires a CA-licensed Family Nurse Practitioner with recent outpatient or urgent care experience. Required Qualifications
- Completed an accredited FNP program with a national certification
- Currently licensed in CA with possibility to obtain additional states
- 2 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
- 2 years in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
- Ability to work afternoons and evenings (Current shifts are 7am-6pm PST or 11-10pm PST)
- Excellent clinical and communication skills with the ability to follow established clinical protocols and workflows
- A passion for human-centered primary care
- The ability to successfully communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds
- The ability to effectively use technology to deliver high quality care
- Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
- The desire to be an integral part of a team dedicated to changing healthcare delivery
- An openness to feedback and reflection to gain productive insight into strengths and weaknesses
- The ability to confidently navigate uncertain situations with both patients and colleagues
- Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet the needs of our patients
- Support 2 of 4 company observed holidays (Thanksgiving, day after Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Day)
- 2 full (entire) rotating A/B weekends per month (weekends includes Saturday and Sunday)
