Job Summary
Conduct tele-health visits, telephonic triage calls, and email follow-ups to treat patients virtually, utilizing clinical protocols and workflows. Collaborate with virtual and in-office teammates via daily huddles and attend weekly Clinical Rounds for continuous learning. Provide care to patients of all ages through advanced practice training, adapting to uncertain situations and diverse backgrounds. Work afternoon and evening shifts (7am-6pm or 11-10pm PST) with rotating A/B weekends, supporting two of four observed holidays. This seasonal role from August to February 2027 supports One Medical's mission to transform healthcare delivery through evidence-based primary care.
Required Qualifications
- Completed an accredited FNP program with a national certification
- Currently licensed in CA
- Possibility to obtain additional states
- 2 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
- 2 years in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
- Ability to work afternoons and evenings
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
- Ability to follow established clinical protocols and workflows
- A passion for human-centered primary care
- The ability to successfully communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds
- The ability to effectively use technology to deliver high quality care
- Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
- The desire to be an integral part of a team dedicated to changing healthcare delivery
- An openness to feedback and reflection to gain productive insight into strengths and weaknesses
- The ability to confidently navigate uncertain situations with both patients and colleagues
- Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet the needs of our patients
- Employment type: Seasonal Employee from August - February 2027
- W2 position
- 40 hours minimum weekly
- 2 full (entire) rotating A/B weekends per month
- Support 2 of 4 company observed holidays (Thanksgiving, day after Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Day)
- Current shifts are 7am-6pm PST or 11-10pm PST
- One Medical participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S.
