Job Summary
Virtual School Social Worker responsible for providing individual and group counseling to support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs; conducting social-emotional and behavioral assessments; contributing findings to IEPs and 504 plans; collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop student support plans and interventions; serving as a liaison between school, home, and community resources; responding to crisis situations with risk assessments and safety planning; maintaining confidential documentation; and providing consultation and training to school staff on trauma-informed practices, behavior management, and social-emotional learning.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW)
- State licensure or certification as a School Social Worker (or eligibility to obtain)
- Department of Justice/FBI Background Check (or equivalent state or national fingerprint clearance)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent
