Job Summary
The Virtual School Social Worker role focuses on providing individual and group counseling to support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs, contributing to IEPs/504 plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop student support plans, crisis response and safety planning, and delivering trauma-informed, evidence-based social-emotional learning guidance to staff and families in a K-12 virtual setting. Responsibilities include counseling, assessments, documentation, and training school staff on trauma-informed practices and behavior management. Must hold an MSW with state licensure eligibility and be able to work in the United States; preferred LCSW and prior K-12 experience.
