Job Summary
MissionSquare is seeking a Virtual Retirement Plans Specialist to provide education and service to public sector employees, enhancing their retirement savings and investment knowledge. Candidates should possess a BA/BS, Series 65 licensing, and 3-5 years of relevant financial services experience.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS or equivalent experience
- Series 65 licensing required
- 3-5 years related experience in financial services sales strongly preferred
- Knowledge of deferred compensation defined benefit and defined contribution plans
- Experience with IRAs, 401ks, 403b, 401a, or DB plans
Desired Qualifications
- Customer service experience
- Significant knowledge of retirement and investment products
- Demonstrated ability to effectively market and service a geographically diverse client base
- Strong communication, listening, interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to make effective presentations
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
