Job Summary
Virtual Registered Nurse (VRN) delivering hospital-level, patient-centered care in the home via remote patient monitoring and team-based nursing. Responsibilities include performing nursing assessments and interventions remotely, coordinating care with the clinical team, conducting virtual care visits, managing remote monitoring data, performing admissions/discharges and episodic visits within the Home Hospital program, triaging patient needs outside regular hours, providing medication teaching and reconciliation collaboration, and ensuring compliant, high-quality documentation in Epic. Requires BSN-educated RN licensed in MA, with at least 3 years of Emergency Department experience; telehealth/remote monitoring experience and Epic proficiency strongly preferred. On-site role based in Somerville, MA, with a self-scheduling model and weekend/holiday coverage expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- RN license in Massachusetts
- BSN preferred
- Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department experience
- Telemetry experience preferred
- Telehealth and remote patient monitoring experience preferred
- Telephone triage experience preferred
- Proficiency with Epic, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and other web-based platforms preferred
