Job Summary
Lead Engineer responsible for the serviceability and airworthiness of Qatar Executive aircraft, ensuring maintenance to highest standards and safety per QCAA regulations and QR procedures. Supervises resources and shift coverage, manages license/approval for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and provides final release to service. Coordinates with OEMs, vendors, and other QE departments; trains and develops staff; focuses on aircraft availability, system reliability, and addressing defects to maintain efficient, safe operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Licensed engineer
- QE aircraft type authorization
- ICAO mechanical or avionics license (preferably EASA)
- Aircraft type rating
- Experience in supervisory role (line and base maintenance)
