Job Summary
Lead the design, construction, and maintenance of physical seating bucks integrated with VR sensors, motion tracking, and haptic feedback systems. Oversee the end-to-end toolchain including Eye trackers, FIGMA-to-VR pipelines, and posture analysis software while ensuring 1:1 digital-to-physical spatial alignment for validation accuracy. Define the full VR validation workflow from CAD ingestion to real-time user feedback, conducting cognitive load analysis and fatigue assessments to refine ergonomic evaluation methods. Collaborate with design and engineering teams to identify usability issues early and communicate complex performance metrics through detailed technical reports.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of proven experience in ergonomic evaluation and HMI validation
- specialized focus on VR/AR environments
- Deep knowledge of ergonomic tools (posture analysis, motion tracking)
- HMI testing tools like FIGMA and Eye trackers
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Ergonomics, Human Factors, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong project management and communication skills to lead VR infrastructure projects within cross-functional teams
