Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care through patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment while ordering and interpreting lab tests to inform decisions. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care by building therapeutic relationships, prescribing medications (excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine), and collaborating with nurses and support staff. Maintain accurate medical documentation and stay current with telehealth innovations and best practices. Schedule at least 15 core hours weekly between 8AM and 6PM locally across four days, with assistance provided for obtaining additional state licenses. Join a network of physicians expanding access to addiction treatment and underserved communities via streamlined telemedicine platforms and EMRs.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in at least three or more of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Ability to use telemedicine platforms
- Ability to use EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
