Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Order and interpret lab tests to inform treatment decisions, prescribe medications (excluding controlled substances except for buprenorphine), and collaborate with nurse practitioners and support staff. Maintain medical documentation for continuity of care and stay current on telehealth innovations. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while building therapeutic doctor-patient relationships. Complete applicable training, including buprenorphine certification, and work at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally) over four days. Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Ability to use telemedicine platforms
- Ability to use EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
