Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care through patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment decisions. Order and interpret lab tests, prescribe medications (excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine), and collaborate with support staff to ensure comprehensive patient outcomes. Maintain medical documentation, stay current on telehealth innovations, and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships. Commit to 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM) across four days with one week scheduled in advance. Requires active multi-state medical license and DEA certification. Join a network expanding access to addiction treatment and underserved communities with streamlined EMR support and industry-leading compensation.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in at least three or more of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms
- Comfort using EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
