Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while ordering and interpreting lab tests to inform treatment decisions. Prescribe medications and provide expert guidance, noting that controlled substances are excluded except for buprenorphine. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care, maintaining appropriate medical documentation. Stay current with medical advancements and telehealth innovation. Complete applicable training, including buprenorphine certification, and obtain state licenses in at least three U.S. states (five preferred). Work 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally) over four days, scheduling at least one week in advance. Join a network helping expand access to addiction treatment and underserved communities.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in at least three or more of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms
- Comfort using EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
