Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care, build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships, and order/interpret lab tests to inform high-quality treatment decisions. Prescribe medications with expert guidance on proper usage (excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine for opioid addiction). Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care while maintaining appropriate medical documentation. Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices. Schedule at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally) over four days, with one week scheduled in advance. Requires an active medical license in at least three U.S. states (preferably five), including CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX, plus DEA certification and applicable CSL. Join a growing network of experienced physicians expanding access to care in underserved communities.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states, but preferably five
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states and/or three or more of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally), over four days each week, scheduling at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms and EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
