Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while ordering and interpreting lab tests to inform treatment decisions. Prescribe medications and provide expert guidance, noting that controlled substances are excluded except for buprenorphine. Collaborate with nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain appropriate medical documentation and stay current with telehealth innovation and best practices. Complete required training, including buprenorphine certification, and work at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally) over four days. Join a network of physicians expanding access to addiction treatment and underserved communities through QuickMD's streamlined telemedicine platform.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX (three or more of these states)
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms
- Comfort using EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
