Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while ordering and interpreting lab tests to inform treatment decisions. Prescribe medications and provide expert guidance, noting that controlled substances are excluded except for buprenorphine for opioid addiction. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care, maintaining appropriate medical documentation for continuity. Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices. This role requires an active medical license in at least three U.S. states (preferably five, including CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX) and a DEA certification. Physicians must commit to 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM) over four days, scheduled in advance. QuickMD offers substantial flexibility, allowing work from anywhere without administrative burdens, with industry-leading compensation ranging from $35 per consult to over $400K annually.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states, but preferably five
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states and/or three or more of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally), over four days each week, scheduling at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms and EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
