Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care through patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment, including ordering lab tests and prescribing medications (excluding controlled substances except for buprenorphine). Build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships while collaborating with nurse practitioners and support staff to ensure comprehensive care. Maintain accurate medical documentation and stay current with telehealth innovation and best practices. Schedule at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally) across four days, with assistance provided for obtaining licenses in high-demand states like CA, FL, NC, PA, and TX. Join a network focused on expanding access to addiction treatment and improving outcomes in underserved communities.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in at least three or more of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms and EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
