Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care through patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment, while ordering and interpreting lab tests to inform decisions. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care by building therapeutic relationships and prescribing medications with expert guidance, excluding controlled substances except for buprenorphine. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care and maintain accurate medical documentation. Stay current with medical advancements and telehealth innovations. Requires an active medical license in at least three U.S. states (preferably five), including CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX, plus DEA certification. Commit to 15-20 hours weekly with 8AM-6PM local availability.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in at least three or more of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms
- Comfort using EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
