Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care through patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment, including ordering lab tests and prescribing medications (excluding controlled substances except for buprenorphine). Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while collaborating with nurse practitioners and support staff to ensure comprehensive outcomes. Maintain accurate medical documentation and stay current with telehealth innovations and medical advancements. Schedule at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally) over four days, with onboarding requiring completion of applicable training such as buprenorphine certification. Join a network of physicians expanding access to addiction treatment and underserved communities through streamlined telemedicine platforms and dedicated EMR support.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms
- Comfort using EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
