Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care, build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships, and order and interpret lab tests to inform treatment decisions. Prescribe medications and provide expert guidance on their proper usage, while collaborating with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain appropriate medical documentation and stay up to date with medical advancements and telehealth innovation. Schedule at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally) over four days, with scheduling one week in advance. Complete applicable training, including buprenorphine training, and obtain required DEA and CSL certifications. Join a network of physicians expanding access to care in addiction treatment and underserved communities.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in at least one of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Ability to use telemedicine platforms
- Ability to use EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
