Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while ordering and interpreting lab tests to inform treatment decisions. Prescribe medications with expert guidance, noting exceptions for buprenorphine in opioid addiction treatment. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care and maintain appropriate medical documentation. Stay current with medical advancements and telehealth best practices. Requires an active medical license in at least three U.S. states (preferably five), including CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX, plus DEA certification. Commit to 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM) over four days with one week's advance scheduling. Compensation averages $200/hour, with many exceeding $400K annually.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in at least three or more of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms and EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
