Job Summary
Conduct tele-health visits, telephonic triage calls, and email follow-ups to treat One Medical patients 24/7 via video appointments and phone. Collaborate with virtual and in-office teammates through daily huddles and participate in weekly Clinical Rounds for continuous learning. Maintain active NCCPA certification and practice in an outpatient primary care or urgent care setting for at least four years. Work overnight shifts from 7pm to 7am Eastern Time, including weekends, as part of a full-time schedule. This role is part of the One Medical Virtual Medical Team, which delivers primary care in concert with primary care providers using advanced technology.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of master's degree in an accredited physician assistant program (MSPAS)
- Maintaining active NCCPA certification
- Currently licensed in NY, DC or CA
- Ability to obtain additional state licenses as needed
- 4 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
- 4 years in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
- Ability to work overnights
- Ability to work weekday and weekend shifts
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
- A passion for human-centered primary care
- The ability to successfully communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds
- The ability to effectively use technology to deliver high quality care
- Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
- The desire to be an integral part of a team dedicated to changing healthcare delivery
- An openness to feedback and reflection to gain productive insight into strengths and weaknesses
- The ability to confidently navigate uncertain situations with both patients and colleagues
