Job Summary
Treating patients via tele-health visits, including telephonic triage calls, video visit appointments, and email follow-ups, as part of One Medical’s Virtual Medical Team delivering 24/7 virtual primary care. The role emphasizes collaboration with both virtual and in-office teammates, utilization of clinical training to provide high-quality care, readiness to obtain additional state licenses, and participation in ongoing learning through clinical rounds and other modalities. The position requires a master’s degree in a PA program (MSPAS), active NCCPA certification, CA licensure with ability to obtain other state licenses, and schedule flexibility including evenings and weekends, with shifts ranging roughly 6am–12am PST. The role is fully virtual and centered on evidence-based primary care delivery to One Medical patients.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in an accredited Physician Assistant program (MSPAS)
- active NCCPA certification
- Current CA license (and ability to obtain additional state licenses)
- 2 years in outpatient primary care setting with patients of all ages (0+) OR 2 years in urgent care or emergency medicine setting with patients of all ages (0+)
- Ability to work weekday and weekend shifts (every other Saturday and/or Sunday)
- Willingness to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for virtual primary care
