Job Summary
Virtual Physician Assistant providing primary care via tele-health for One Medical's Virtual Medical Team (VMT). Responsibilities include treating patients through tele-health visits (video, phone, and email follow-ups), participating in weekly Clinical Rounds, and collaborating with virtual and in-office teammates to deliver evidence-based primary care 24/7. Requires MSPAS, active NCCPA, CA licensure with ability to obtain additional state licenses, and eligibility to work weekday and weekend shifts. Role is full-time with options for remote delivery across locations, supported by a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies (MSPAS) and active NCCPA certification
- 2 years in outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+) OR 2 years in urgent care or emergency medicine setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
- Currently licensed in CA with ability to obtain additional state licenses
- Ability to work weekday and weekend shifts (every other Saturday and/or Sunday)
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
- Comfort with tele-health delivery and use of technology to provide care
- Willingness to obtain additional state licensure/credentialing for virtual primary care in additional states
