Job Summary
The One Medical Virtual Medical Team (VMT) seeks a licensed Physician Assistant to provide high-quality virtual primary care. Responsibilities include treating patients via tele-health visits (video, telephonic triage, and email follow-ups), participating in weekly Clinical Rounds, collaborating with both virtual and in-office teammates, and leveraging clinical training to deliver exceptional virtual care. Requires a Master’s degree in an accredited PA program (MSPAS), active NCCPA certification, CA license with ability to obtain additional state licenses, and at least 2 years of outpatient primary care or urgent/emergency care experience with patients of all ages. Must be able to work weekday and weekend shifts, with shifts ranging from early morning to late-night PST. Willingness to obtain additional state licensure/credentialing for multi-state virtual primary care. The role is full-time and virtual; compensation includes a base hourly range of $59.10–$65.50 plus evening/weekend differential, with a comprehensive benefits package and E-Verify participation.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in an accredited Physician Assistant program (MSPAS)
- Active NCCPA certification
- Current CA license with ability to obtain additional state licenses/credentials for virtual primary care in additional states
- 2 years in outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+) OR 2 years in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting seeing patients of all ages (0+) within past 5 years
- Ability to work weekday and weekend shifts (every other Saturday and/or Sunday)
- Base shifts range from 6am–12am PST; willingness to work diverse hours as part of a full-time virtual role
- Experience using technology to deliver high quality care
- Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
- Comfort collaborating with virtual and in-office teammates
