Virtual Patient Companion

Monitor high-risk patients remotely from the CommonSpirit Health Care Base using live, non-recorded streaming video equipment. Continuously observe patient behavior and vital signs to identify agitation, safety concerns, or inappropriate interactions with medical devices. Immediately notify bedside clinical staff of urgent changes requiring direct intervention and accurately document all observations, actions taken, and adverse events per established protocols. Maintain effective communication with patients, colleagues, and onsite care teams while adhering to all safety protocols to ensure continuous patient safety within a broad-reaching virtual care model.
