Job Summary
Plans and provides for appropriate learning experiences for students in a virtual classroom. Manages multiple virtual platforms (e.g., Canvas, Edmentum) to monitor and evaluate student progress, communicates with students, parents, staff, and the community, and collaborates across contents as needed. Develops, selects, and modifies instructional plans and materials for virtual learning environments; maintains records and adheres to procedures; participates in special committees; and supports professional growth. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or higher and Maryland licensure requirements, with ability to work in a 10-month, Exempt position within Charles County Public Schools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- licensure requirements as established by the Maryland State Department of Education
- Knowledge of subject matter and instructional methodologies
- Evidence of exemplary human relation skills
- Evidence of exemplary organizational and planning skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff
