Job Summary

Coordinate school-level administration of state, district, and national assessments, including scheduling, training, accommodations, and test security for Lighthouse Virtual Academy students. Administer and support the learning management system, handling course creation, troubleshooting, and enrollment support while establishing virtual course-quality standards. Lead faculty in designing modules, assessments, and remediation strategies aligned with Georgia Standards of Excellence and Universal Design for Learning principles. Facilitate professional learning on digital tools and instructional design, while collecting and analyzing student data to identify needs and improve program effectiveness. Serve as a liaison with contracted partners and support staff for exceptional students to ensure equitable access and individualized instruction.

  • Coordinates instructional and technology onboarding for new teachers, contracted instructors, and staff
  • Serves as a liaison with contracted virtual learning partners
  • Coordinates with the Program for Exceptional Students, Section 504, gifted education, counseling, and instructional staff

  • Coordinates the advanced learning programs of the Lighthouse Virtual Academy
  • Leads the faculty in remediation strategies to use during asynchronous time
  • Guides and assists grade levels in developing common assessments

  • Leads faculty in using flexible grouping
  • Leads faculty in securing appropriate resources

Desired Qualifications

  • Masters in Instructional Technology or Education
