Job Summary
Virtual Designer responsible for creating, reviewing, and maintaining electrical drawings and 3D models using Revit; transforms concepts into buildable electrical designs while supporting project teams and coordinating with Design Engineers, project managers, engineers, and field personnel. Responsibilities include reviewing project documents, updating drawings throughout the lifecycle, preparing record drawings, coordinating drawing sets with internal and external teams, developing 3D models, supporting estimating/scheduling updates, maintaining organized digital design files, and ensuring adherence to drafting standards and construction practices. Emphasis on collaboration, accurate documentation, and meeting deadlines, with ongoing professional development in electrical design.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Entry-level experience with Revit (electrical or construction industry preferred)
- Exposure to BIM applications
- Foundational understanding of electrical drawings and layouts
- One-line diagrams
- Panel schedules
- Conduit requirements
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proactive and eager to learn in electrical design
