Job Summary
Manage VDC systems by applying technologies onsite, including drone flights, laser scanning, and robotic layout. Leverage 3D, 4D, and 5D digital assets to streamline workflows between preconstruction and field operations while maintaining model standards and best practices. Produce cost analysis, analyze metrics for improvement, and negotiate with vendors. Mentor team members, lead training sessions, and present capabilities to owners and architects. Maintain site models, handle RFIs, and track deviations against actual build conditions.
Required Qualifications
- An industry related bachelor's degree
- A minimum of five (5) years of architectural services, construction or manufacturing experience
- At least two (2) years of VDC/BIM management
- OSHA 10 or 30
- Proficiency in basic computer software programs such as Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Proficiency in Autodesk software programs (Revit AutoCAD and Navisworks)
- General understanding of VDC software (Sketchup, Fuzor, Infraworks, Adobe Suite), systems and hardware
- Ability to learn other specific software (JDE, Procore, Bluebeam, scheduling software, etc.)
