Job Summary
Virtual Critical Care RN provides professional nursing care for critically ill patients via telecommunication, collaborating with bedside nurses to coordinate care across the ICU, utilizing EPIC/Sickbay and other software to monitor patient status, and ensuring safe, evidence-based care. Responsibilities include advocating for patients, facilitating learning for staff and families, leading in practice safety and quality, and leveraging telehealth to oversee care plans and transitions across the continuum.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse licensed in Pennsylvania and New York
- BSN preferred
- CCRN or CCRN-E preferred
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Five years of experience in critical care
- Experience with EPIC and Sickbay or designated software
- Ability to monitor and coordinate care via videoconferencing
