Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Order and interpret lab tests to inform treatment decisions, while prescribing medications and offering expert guidance on their usage. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care, maintaining appropriate medical documentation for continuity. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and stay current with medical advancements and telehealth best practices. This role requires an active medical license in at least three U.S. states (preferably five), including CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX, plus a DEA certification. Candidates must commit to 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM) over four days, scheduling at least one week in advance. QuickMD offers substantial flexibility, allowing physicians to work from anywhere with streamlined EMR support and no administrative burdens.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms
- Comfort using EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
