Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while building therapeutic doctor-patient relationships. Order and interpret lab tests to inform treatment decisions, prescribe medications (excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine), and collaborate with nurse practitioners and support staff. Maintain accurate medical documentation and stay current on medical advancements and telehealth best practices. Schedule at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally) over four days, with one week's schedule set in advance. Requires an active medical license in at least three U.S. states (preferably five) and DEA certification. Join a network of physicians expanding access to addiction treatment and underserved communities through streamlined telemedicine technology.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in at least three or more of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms
- Comfort using EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
